Planning permission has been granted for the remodelling of a series of retail units in the wonderfully vibrant Seven Dials area of central London.
Constructed in the 1960's and 1980's respectively, Earlham House and Fielding Court occupy two of the seven prominent corner sites addressing the Seven Dials Monument. As is characteristic of many buildings of the era, little attention had been paid to the design of the lower register of the buildings.
Our design aims to unify the shopfronts in a way which respects the architectural character of the original buildings whilst bringing improvements to the pedestrian experience.
Alongside the resurfacing works planned for Earlham street, the new shop fronts will enhance what is already an intriguing and atmospheric focal point.
